Super Bad Beat Jackpot hit at over $213,000!

Jackson Rancheria's Super Bad Beat Poker Jackpot grew to a recording breaking $213,000 before Robert Barber of Placerville finally hit it on December 6.

Robert  had four nines, normally a winning hand, but was beat by Stephen Baker of Sandy, Utah, who had a straight flush of clubs.

As the "loser," Robert got 50% of the Super Bad Beat Jackpot for a total of $106,646. Stephen got 30% of the pot for the "winning" hand and took home $63,987. The other seven players at the table shared the remaining 20% for approximately $6,000 each.

Dealer Tim Asper dealt the jackpot hand.

The Super Bad Beat Jackpot award is based on a hand of four of a kind eights or better being beaten by a hand of greater value in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em.
